Life Home Integration are an Italian company specialising in integrated automation for home environments.
Life have recently developed this new compact powerful high speed gate motor for the residential gate market with striking visual appeal and ease of operational control.
This high speed gate motor runs on 240v mains power which is controlled by a switching transformer which will recognise when the gate is idle and sleep the power supply until it is required. Once the gate remote control signal is received the power switches on and the gate operates with the quiet 24vDC motor.
Having the 24vDC motor allows the option of back up batteries for any power supply cut and is recommended in properties that only have the main sliding gate as the entrance. Should a prolonged power supply issue occur then the motor has a safety clutch over ride lever to disengage the motor allowing the gate to be manually pulled open or closed.
With a maximum speed of 20.4m/min (thats twice the speed of previous models) less time is spent waiting for the gate to open. Especially the longer gates on wider driveways. There are 6 speed variations so you can easily tune the speed to the gate.
